Transforming Education with Technology

We are equipping the primary and secondary schools in Tanzania with internet access and computers, to improve students’ and teachers’ access to the enormous range of ebooks, interactive learning, communication and educational resources.

Internet Connects Learners to Knowledge

One of the primary impacts of the internet in our school is improved access to educational resources. Students and teachers can use online libraries, e-books, academic journals, and educational websites to enhance learning for students with and without disabilities.

Connecting Teachers to Innovations

Internet access enables effective communication between teachers and other professionals both internationally, such as Cardinal Cushing Centers, Perkins School for the Blind, and The Learning Center for the Deaf in the USA, as well as locally, through resources like Iringa School for the Deaf and Makalala Special Education Unit.

Laptops Bring Learning to Life

Internet connected laptops donated by AEP being used to learn sign language.

Access Online Textbooks

Unable to afford new textbook, online access allows the school to adapt to new curriculum requirements.

Encouraging Collaboration

Students sharing a computer are learning sign language together.

Internet Access in the Secondary School

Following the success at the Primary level, we installed a WIFI router at the secondary school.
